Established in 1927, The Penn Fund, Penn’s undergraduate annual giving fund, serves as the primary philanthropic vehicle for Penn’s 100,000+ strong community of undergraduate alumni and students. Gifts to The Penn Fund benefit the University’s highest undergraduate priorities through unrestricted support and individual endowed scholarships.
The International Development office, within Development and Alumni Relations at the University of Pennsylvania is responsible for raising major and principal gifts from alumni, parents and friends residing overseas, while also managing two international foundations and two global volunteer committees. The office currently consists of an Assistant Director, a Managing Director, Senior Managing Director and a Senior Advisor.
Reporting to the Vice President for Development and Alumni Relations, the Associate Vice President for Development for Undergraduate Programs will focus on the integration of the undergraduate and individual gift fundraising programs with the four Undergraduate Schools (Arts and Sciences, Engineering and Applied Science, Nursing, and Wharton) in order to systematically solicit and engage the interest of a larger group of individual donors having potential to contribute significant levels of gift support to the University.
