Linda Kronfeld
Principal Gifts
As Senior Philanthropic Advisor, Linda Kronfeld works closely with the senior leadership of Penn's 18 schools and centers to encourage the donor-centered approach that is critical at the highest level of fundraising.
Linda graduated from Penn with a double major in International Relations and Italian Studies. She began her career in Washington, D.C. and worked for several international institutions before becoming a Congressional legislative assistant on Capitol Hill. She spent 8 years working on Wall Street doing marketing, sales, and new product development for Chemical Bank. In 1988-1989, Linda took a year off to backpack around the world and in 1990 joined the Wharton School as Associate Director of Major Gifts. She has been fundraising for Penn ever since. In her 18 years as a development officer at Penn, Linda has established substantial long-term relationships with many of the University's most generous donors, nurturing their ties to Penn as she builds on their philanthropic spirit.
"What I find most rewarding is seeing how pleased our donors are when we successfully mesh their personal interests with those of the University. Knowing that we can make a difference in guiding their giving so it has a positive impact on Penn and, in consequence, the world is something quite special."
