The Senior Associate Director of Development reports to the Director of Development and is responsible for Individual Giving Efforts, including Major Gifts as well as the Annual Fund and Membership programs. This position ensures that the Arboretum maintains a strategic approach toward moving its donors and prospects up through all levels of the individual donor pyramid. The position directly supervises two full-time staff members and indirectly supervises an additional full time staff member and a part-time staff member.
The International Development office, within Development and Alumni Relations at the University of Pennsylvania is responsible for raising major and principal gifts from alumni, parents and friends residing overseas, while also managing two international foundations and two global volunteer committees. The office currently consists of an Assistant Director, a Managing Director, Senior Managing Director and a Senior Advisor.
Reporting to the Associate Director of Research and Prospect Management, the Prospect Researcher serves as a member of the Wharton External Affairs Research and Prospect Management team, which provides in-depth research services and prospect management to staff in support of Wharton External Affairs’ fundraising and alumni relations goals. Manages a significant workload of research projects primarily concerned with proactive prospect identification and screening, on both Wharton alumni and other Wharton donor prospects, both international and domestic.

Reporting to the Director of Research and Prospect Management, this position provides prospect research and prospect management services in support of the Wharton School’s fundraising and engagement efforts within the division of Wharton External Affairs. The Associate Director will work closely with the Director of Research and Prospect Management to define and produce a range of research information products.
