Reporting to the Sr. Associate Director of Class and Reunion Giving for the Wharton Fund, the position of Associate Director is responsible for the fundraising and engagement of Wharton School graduate alumni in assigned alumni and reunion years. The Associate Director is a key member of the team raising unrestricted dollars for the Wharton Fund and will contribute to achieving Wharton Fund cash and participation goals annually. He/She must possess a solid understanding of the importance of philanthropy and engagement to the achievement of institutional goals.

The Director of Regional Development leads the East Coast regional team in their fundraising and engagement strategies and manages the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship for assigned prospects with the giving ability of $250,000 and above in New York metro region. The Director of Regional Development reports to the Senior Director of Major and Planned Gifts. The Director of Regional Development is responsible for a wide range of fundraising and management activities, including but not limited to, the following:

As part of a team of experienced fundraisers, the Senior Major Gifts Officer (working title: Regional Director) reports to the Director of Regional Development, and manages the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship for assigned prospects with the giving ability of $250,000 and above in a given geographical region. Incumbent is responsible for designing, planning and implementing a major gifts plan that strengthens Wharton’s donor base in the region and proactively builds the donor pipeline.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Research and Prospect Management, the Prospect Researcher serves as a member of the Wharton External Affairs Research and Prospect Management team, which provides in-depth research services and prospect management to staff in support of Wharton External Affairs’ fundraising and alumni relations goals.
